Boston Baked Beans                       Boston Baked Beans are bright red, candy coated peanuts.  The peanuts are a good source of protein mixed with a little bit of sweetness from the candy shell.     An old-time favorite, “The Boston Baked Bean” is a generic name used throughout the candy industry for sugar coated peanuts. The Ferrara Pan Candy Company developed their line of Boston Baked Beans in the early 1930’s.
