Japanese Peanuts                          Cracker nuts, also known as Japanese peanuts is a snack food produced with peanuts that are coated in a wheat flour dough and then fried or deep-fried. Whole peanuts coated with an ultra-crunchy shell and flavored with a toasty hint of soy sauce. Japanese-style peanuts originated in Mexico, not Japan. Also known as “maní japonés” or “cacahuates japoneses” in Spanish.   These tasty peanut snacks are wonderful, if you haven’t tried them yet, you should!
